Thomas “Tommy” Graham Evans, Jr., 51, of White Stone, Virginia died on April 15, 2014.

Surviving is his wife, Donna Duerson Evans, three sons, Thomas Graham Evans, III (Kim), Andrew Chandler Lunsford and Adam James Lunsford; two grandchildren, Thomas Graham Evans, IV and Noah Evans; his mother, Bessie Ashburn Evans; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Dorothy Duerson; sister-in-law, Irene Luck (Tommy); brothers-in-law, Jimmy Duerson (Chris) and Garnett Duerson (Janis); nephews, Timmy and John Luck and Garrett Duerson; niece, Cassie Duerson; two great nieces, Chassy Groom and Piper Luck and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Graham Evans, Sr.

Tommy was a deputy sheriff for the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department, a member of the White Stone Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years and a member of Blue Knights Virginia, Chapter 19.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a. m. Saturday, April 19 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment will be at Claybrook Baptist Church, Weems following the service. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. Friday, April 18 at the funeral home.
