Evelyn Sanford Folan, 69, of Lively, Virginia passed away on August 21, 2014 with her family by her side. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Frank Thomas Folan; daughter, Vickie F. Beale and her husband, Robert ; her son, James “Jamie” W. Folan; five grandchildren, Barbara Sorey and her husband, Darneilus, Victoria Love, Alex Folan and his wife, Brittany, Tray Love and Tiffany Love and her fiancé, Thomas Selph; four great grandchildren, Ryleigh Sorey, Tristan Selph, Olive Folan and Shaviera Brown; her mother, Sarah Potter Sanford; two sisters, Pamela Walker and her husband, Carl and Delilah Vanlandingham; two brothers, Ben Sanford and his wife, Tina and John Sanford and his wife, Janie and a daughter-in-law, Melissa Folan. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas W. Sanford and her son, Frank “Tommy” Thomas Folan, Jr.

Evelyn was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all.
She will be greatly missed.

The family would like to especially thank Karen Landers who was her caregiver and a dear friend.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p. m. Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Bethel United Methodist Church, Lively. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. Saturday, August 23 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
