Janice Hasson Starlings, 92, of Kilmarnock, Va. passed away February 18, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wilson Starlings, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Wilson Starlings III of Kilmarnock, Va.; a sister-in-law, Margaret Elizabeth Spurgin, of Annapolis, Md.; and three cousins.

Mrs. Starlings was a member of the Eastern Star and was special assistant for the principal of the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute for 25 years.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock, Va. Interment will follow at Fairfields United Methodist Church, Burgess, Va.
