Mary Duane Andrews, 92, of White Stone, Va. passed away February 22, 2015.

She was born on March 31, 1922 in Waltham, Mass. to the late Hon. Patrick J and Mary J. Duane.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Robert L. Andrews; and her two brothers, Patrick J. Duane, Jr. and 1st Lieutenant W. Redmond Duane, who died at Iwo Jima.

Mary is survived by her four children, Mary Lou Connolly of Irvington, Va., Robert F. Sullivan (Linda) of Winchester, Mass., Kathleen Schmitt of White Stone, Va., and Jane Meyer of Garden City , NY; six grandchildren ; and five great-grandchildren.

She thoroughly enjoyed the game of golf and in later years switched her allegiance and became an accomplished bridge player. Mary will long be remembered by family and friends for her wonderful humor and sense of fun.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock, Va.
