Theodora J. “Dimmie” Shelton, 95 of Reedville, Virginia passed away on June 29, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Theodore A. Jett and Maude W. Jett and a lifelong member of Bethany United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her children, Joan W. Haynie (Pratt), Carvel H. Whaley, Jr. (Debra) and John E. Shelton (Carolyn); six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Carvel H. Whaley, Sr. and John L. Shelton, her daughter, Linda J. Shelton; sisters, Margaret J. Neal and Viola J. Bohannan and brother, Theo A. Jett.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 p. m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Roseland Cemetery, Reedville.
