Bertie Anne Crowther died on July 17, 2016 in the Lancashire Convalescent and Rehab Center in Kilmarnock, VA .

She was a graduate of Lively School, Lively, VA.

Surviving is her beloved son, Ricky Crowther and wife Teresa; her brothers Andy Booth(Carol) and Johnny Booth(Peggy) and sister Mary Ellen Whay.

Bertie was predeceased by her life partner, Garnet Anthony, and her beloved dog, Sassy.

Bertie worked for the Eye Glass Factory in Lively and later at the ABC Stores in Northern Virginia and Callao before retiring to care for her life partner and family.

Funeral Services will be held 2 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Currie Funeral Home in Kilmarnock, VA. Interment will be at St. Mary's White Chapel in Lively. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
