Thomas E. Stevens, 78, passed away September 23, 2016. He was born February 14, 1938, in Millenbeck to the late Earnest and Ada(Thomas) Stevens.

He is survived by his wife, Esther, and daughters, Julie and Robin Stevens. Also, a stepson, Mike Stevens and his wife,Marcy and stepson, Troy Elswick and his wife,Amanda; and step-grandchildren, Kaden Stevens and Kimberly and Blake Elswick. He is survived by his sister, Selena and her husband, Calvin Lewis, and his brother, Malachi Stevens, all of Senora.

"Cap'n Tom" was a member of Corrottoman Baptist Church and was owner and operator of Cap'n Tom's Seafood in Bertrand until health reasons forced his retirement.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, September 27 at Corrottoman Baptist Church, Ottoman with burial in the church cemetery followed by a reception in the church fellowship hall. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. Monday, September 26 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
