Condolence: To Lynn and other family members. I do offer heartfelt condolences to you doing this difficult time. Jeff has been not only a friend but also a confidant. With his quiet demeanor he could correct, teach and guide individuals to the correct answer or behavior which is acceptable in the sight of God. I thank God for the loan of Jeff to us. Jeffrey remains in my highest esteem for his faithful stewarding of the gospel ministry calling upon his life, and his entrusting me at the outset of ordained ministry with the privilege of being his curate and assistant at both Saint Stephen and Saint Mary. Those were formative years for me and feel like yesterday. He was both Rector (in his title) and colleague in our relationship, and above all a pastoral presence to our family. Condolence: I thought I'd google Jeff's name just now because I haven't been in touch with him for a few years and thought I'd get his current contact information and wish him merry Christmas. When I was in the Cleveland office of Squire Sanders 1989-91, I worked with him on several matters, and I enjoyed it. He was in the DC office at the time. On a firm outing in Cleveland, he was a member of my foursome. When I moved to DC, my wife Ann and I visited him once at his then parish, St Margaret's I think. Our condolences to his family and friends. We will pray for him and for you.
