Obituary for Richard Erskine "Dick" Wiley
Richard E. "Dick" Wiley, 79, of Heathsville, Virginia passed away on June 13, 2018.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Baretta "Gerry" Wiley; children, David Wiley, Steven Wiley and Tracey Wiley Martin; five grandchildren, Katrina, Lauren, Zachary, Claire, and Ethan; two great grandchildren, Aiden and Scarlett and four siblings, William Wiley, John Wiley, Martha Palmer, and Betty Short.
Mr. Wiley is a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was employed as an electrician with Potomac Electric Power Company (Pepco) for 37 years before retiring in the Northern Neck. He was a member of the Northumberland Lions Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and many hobbies, but spending time with family and friends is what he enjoyed the most.
Family and friends are welcome to attend funeral service at 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 17, 2018 at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Heathsville, Va. Interment will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Mount Comfort Cemetery, 6600 S. Kings Hwy., Alexandria, VA 22306.
