Obituary for Gloria Lee Jones
Gloria Lee Jones, 83, of Kilmarnock, Va. passed away January 9, 2021. She was the widow of James B. "Jimmy" Jones.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Jones (Rosie) and Donnie Jones both of Kilmarnock; grandchildren, P. J. Jones (Jessica) of White Stone, Jason Jones of White Stone and Brittany Jones of New Hampshire; three great grandchildren, Peyton Jones, Parker Jones and Susanna Jones Freburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Susanna Megan Jones.
Gloria was a member of Irvington Baptist Church where she played the organ for 33 years and she retired from Tri Star Supermarket.
Gloria enjoyed the outdoors doing gardening and cutting her grass.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Kilmarnock. Family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p. m. Monday, January 11, 2021 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
