Estelle Stevens Oliver, 91, of Farnham passed away on November 4, 2015 surrounded by her family, who loved and will miss her very much. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon E. Oliver, a daughter, Marcella I. Callis, and her parents, William E. and Myrtine P. Stevens. Mrs. Oliver is survived by two sisters, Avalon S. Pittman of Kilmarnock, Va. and Marion S. Ransone of Lively, Va.; three grandchildren, Angela C. Ellis (Michael) of Callao, Va, Michele C. Glassner (David) of Ellington, CT, and S. Todd Callis (Rowena) of Richmond, Va. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren: Quinn Ellis, Zachary Glassner, Madeleine Glassner, Mary Katherine Ellis, and Amelia Ann Callis.
The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to her hospice nurses, Lori Rice and Brenda Hence, and Hospice of Virginia Chaplain, Leslie Park, as well as to the rest of the incredible staff at Hospice of Virginia. The family is also extremely grateful to the entire staff at Commonwealth Assisted Living at Farnham for their loving care.
