Vivian Abbott,67, retired Deputy for the Lancaster and Northumberland Sheriff departments died on September 2, 2016. She was a member of Claybrook Baptist Church.

She is survived by a brother, Dennis L. Abbott of Lancaster, 2 nieces; Nichole Carter of Virginia Beach and Keri Abbott of Richmond and 1 nephew, William Abbott of Kilmarnock. Vivian had several great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Sharon Abbott of Kilmarnock.

Vivian was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne O. Abbott and her parents: Earl and Frances Abbott.

Her services will be held at 2 pm on September 11at Claybrook Baptist Church with visitation on Saturday September 10 from 6 to 8 pm at Currie Funeral Home.
