Obituary for Alice Straughan Lewis
Alice S. Lewis, 97, of Reedville, Virginia passed away October 2, 2020.She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Reedville, Va.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Booth; son, Cleve Lewis (Doug); grandson, Scott C. Booth (Julissa); sister, Florence Moore; sister-in-law, Peggy Straughan; nieces, Brenda Falot, Valerie Straughan; nephew, Winn Straughan (Jennifer) and great nieces, Morgan Straughan and Mackenzie Straughan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. Lewis; brothers, Kirk Straughan and Winstead Straughan and son-in-law, Bruce Booth.
Mrs. Lewis was a graduate of Mary Washington College and Virginia Commonwealth University. She taught in the Northumberland County School System for 43 years.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Roseland Cemetery, Reedville, Va.
