Obituary for Barbara Jo King (Thrift)
Barbara Jo King, 76, of Heathsville, Virginia went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2022.
She is survived her sons, Mark King, Kenny King and her daughter, Melanie Scheidig (Timo); grandson, Bjoern and sister, Debra T. Whaley (Carvel). She was preceded in death by her parents, Randolph and Ollie Mae Thrift; her husband, Earl Richard "Dickey" King, Jr. and her son, Richard Kevin King.
Barbara was a charter member of New Friendship Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and she also loved to garden.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 6,2022 at New Friendship Baptist Church, Heathsville, Va. officiated by Rev. Rodney Morrison. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
