Betty was one of my dearest friends. Along with many other friends, I learned how to play better bridge thru the classes she taught. I have spent many happy hours with Betty at the Women’s Club where we set up for the game twice a month, had lunch together, and worked together at sandwich bridge games. We shared joy and sometimes sadness but knew we could always talk to each other about things in our lives. She loved her family, especially her two granddaughters. She was a Christian and her church was also important to her. A part of my life will not be the same without her, and I will miss her.
