Charles "Charlie" F. Tibbs, 63, of Heathsville, Virginia passed away on May 24, 2022, after succumbing to his recent battle with metastatic melanoma.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Tibbs; his children, Nicholas Tibbs (Kayla), Matthew Tibbs, Adam Tibbs and Caitlin Tibbs; two grandchildren, Landon and Alyssa Tibbs; stepsons, David Brigner and Corey Brigner; three step grandchildren, Dale, Luna and Wade Brigner; his brother, Stan Tibbs (Debbie) and sister-in-law, Annette Dennis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Betty Tibbs.

Charlie loved to fish and be out on his boat. He enjoyed sharing these things with friends and family that visited. Recently retired, he and his wife relocated to their home in the Northern Neck. Those who knew Charlie have good memories and stories from his presence in their lives.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a. m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Currie Funeral Home in Kilmarnock, Va.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation.
