Obituary for Forrest Dale "Dale" Hall Jr.
Forrest Dale Hall, Jr., 73, of Reedville, Virginia passed away surrounded by family on January 5, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda E. Holdsworth Hall; sons, Brian Dale Hall (Catharine Cowan) and Drew Allen Hall (Beth); two granddaughters, Julianna and Alyssa; brother, William Matthew Hall (Deborah) and sister, Martha Dolsay. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest D. Hall, Sr. and Hazel Voss Hall.
He graduated from Virginia Tech (then known as Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University) and was a very proud member of the Corps of Cadets- E Company, 1968. He also worked tirelessly serving in many roles with the Rolling Thunder Virginia Chapter 3.
Dale worked for many years in the Washington D.C. area as a Surety Bonds Agent, spending weekends on the Northern Neck near Heathsville, Va. He retired to the Northern Neck near Reedville several years ago, a place he always loved.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Fairport Baptist Church, Fairport, Va. Interment will follow the service at Roseland Cemetery, Reedville, Va. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
