Obituary for Franklin Eugene "Gene" Taft
Franklin Eugene "Gene" Taft ,69,of Lancaster, Virginia passed away October 7,2020. He was a resident of Brambles in Mathews, Va. and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, Alfonso, Va.
He is survived by three sisters, Louise Brocklebank of Kilmarnock, Sandra Kellum( Warren) of Lancaster and Paige Bedell (Mike) of Kilmarnock; two brothers, Lawrence H. Taft, Jr. (Joyce)of Lancaster, and Tony Taft (Kathy) of White Stone and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence H. Taft, Sr. and Rachel Revere Taft.
Gene lived life to the fullest and was a kind and thoughtful soul. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p. m. Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, Alfonso, Va.
