Obituary

Guy O. "Billy" Franklin, Jr., 78, of Lancaster, Virginia passed away June 9, 2020. He was a U S Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post # 86, Kilmarnock.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy B. Franklin; son, Jason C. Franklin; grandchildren, Joshua C. Franklin, James C. Franklin and June L. Franklin; three brothers, John E. Franklin, Harold B. Franklin and Dandridge L. Franklin; aunt, Helen Mitchell and an uncle, Sonny Hearold.

He was a construction worker with J and J, Inc. and loved to farm. He was a hard worker all of his life.

Billy was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p. m. Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wicomico United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 298, Wicomico Church, VA 22579 or Irvington United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 178, Irvington, VA 22480.
