Obituary for Harry Davis Rowe
Harry Davis Rowe, 89, of White Stone, Virginia passed away December 29, 2020. He was a US Marine veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Thelma Rowe; daughter, Christine Bowen of Kilmarnock, Va.; son, Glenn Rowe (Laurie) of White Stone, Va.; grandchildren, Tara Clay (Jason) of Charlottesville, Va. and Jason Brown (Meghan) of Newport News, Va; great grandchildren, Emma Shirilla, Katie Brown, and Harper Rowe Brown; brother, Lawrence Rowe of Kilmarnock, Va. and sister, Thelma Dixon of Mississippi.
Harry retired after 27 years as a Millwright for the Chesapeake Corporation, West Point, Va. and also worked as a waterman and mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery, Kilmarnock. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
