Obituary for Hudnall Wyart "Bobby" Conley Jr.
Hudnall W. "Bobby" Conley, Jr., 72, of Litwalton, Va. passed away on January 21, 2020. He was born on March 9, 1947.
He is survived by his son, Brandon W. Conley of White Castle, Louisiana; grandchildren, Aubriana Leanne Conley and Madilyn Dawn Conley whom called him "Grandpop"; sisters, Doris M. Lewis (Arlden) of Montross, Beatrice M. Smith (Thomas Earl) of Mollusk and Mattie C. Headley (Reubin) of Litwalton; seven nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews; his devoted companion, Marie Smith and her two grandchildren whom called him "Granddaddy" ; two special friends, Irene Jones and Betty Pritchett and his fury buddies, Foxy Girl and Jake. He was preceded in death by his father, Hudnall W. Conley, Sr.; his mother, Hattie M. Conley; his brothers, Clayton "Sonny" Conley and Robert Earl Conley and his sister, Marie C. Bryant.
Bobby worked for the National Park Service in Arlington, Va. for 2 1/2 years, the Va. Department of Transportation for 30 years and the Lancaster County Solid Waste and Recycling Department for nine years.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Friday, January 24, 2020 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery, Kilmarnock, Va. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home
In lieu of flowers, the family and his companion request donations to be made to Hospice of Virginia, 1328 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock, VA 22560 or Bon Secours Cancer Institute at RGH, P. O. Box 1449, 101 Harris Road, Kilmarnock, VA 22482.
Bobby was loved by many and was very blessed for all of their acts of kindness. He will be greatly missed by his family and dear friends.
