Obituary for Jack Weston Bryant

Jack Weston Bryant, 83, of White Stone, Virginia passed away peacefully on May 6, 2022.

He is survived by his two grandsons, James Michael Bryant and Tyler Braiden Kent; granddaughter, Peyton Olivia Herrington; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Bryant-Kent Herrington (Cole); brother, James D. Marks; sister, Charlotte Bevins ; along with many extended family members and close friends that were also family to him. He was preceded in death by his only son, Michael Todd Bryant; two brothers, Franklin Bryant and John Bryant; and two sisters, Jean Pugh and Carolyn Smith.

Jack was born March 8, 1939 and was a member and deacon of White Stone Baptist Church. He served in the Army, was a former pilot for Zapata Fishing Company in Reedville, a former member of Callao Moose Lodge and finally retired as a tug boat Captain for Blaha Towing Company in Hopewell. "Captain Jackie B" has navigated his way home and will be missed.

There will be a private graveside service for the family.
