Obituary for Joan May Flore
Joan Patricia May Flore, 91, of Heathsville, Virginia, formerly of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020.
Born July 4th, 1929 in Georgetown, Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Andrew James May and Mary Helen Allen May.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Robert Ervin Flore; two daughters, Gabrielle Dawson (Brian) of Callao, Va and Heather Butler (John) of Middletown, Va; four grandchildren, Haley D. Deihl. Kelsey A. Dawson, Emery A. Butler and Robert W. Butler and two great grandsons, Henry and Harrison Deihl.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Kilmarnock, Va. with interment in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Virginia, P. O. Box 1924, Tappahannock, VA 22560.
