Obituary for Kathryn Hadley "Kay" Inskeep
Kathryn Hadley Inskeep "Kay", 101,passed away November 25, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Esler "Les" Inskeep.
Kay was born in Gary, Indiana on February 17, 1921 and completed her schooling there. She graduated from Conn. College for Women, after which she was employed by IBM, in Chicago and Wilmington, Delaware, where she and Les were married in 1955.
They moved to Richmond, Va. and after 22 years retired to the Northern Neck. Kay was an avid golfer and member of Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club. She enjoyed volunteering at the Northern Neck Free Health Clinic, Historic Christ Church, Lancaster Public Library and numerous jobs at Wicomico Parish Church including the start up of the churches thrift shop (Discoveries).
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
