Kenneth Kirk passed away on March 17th, 2021 at the age of 54. Ken was born in Lincoln, Illinois on August 28th, 1966 to parents, Kenneth and Martha. As a child he learned to work on cars from his father. He help his father on the job doing construction. He was a man of many traits and a huge heart. He was very passionate about everything he did. He enlisted into the Army in 1984 and was in the 82nd Airborne Division Fort Bragg North Carolina in 1986. He left the Army in 1988 after that he joined the Marine Corps as an infantryman in 1990 and went on to become a Marine Sniper in 1992 with 5 combat tours. At the end of his career as a Marine he was an instructor at the Mount Warfare Training Center he retired in 2007. He was a brave and loyal soldier who loved his country. He married the love of his life Angie on August 10, 1995.

He and his wife enjoyed fishing and being on the water. He also had a passion for cars, hunting and riding his motorcyle.

He is survived by his wife Angie, his son Austin, and his daughter Chelsee and three grand children.

Funeral services will be held 2:00p.m. Tuesday, March 23 at the Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Internment will be in Mooreland Cemetery Heathsville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00p.m.
