Obituary for Louis Santangelo
Louis Santangelo, 68, of Lively, Virginia passed away May 31, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Eileen Santangelo; children, Mandy Sullivan, Diana Bongiorno (Tom), Laura Callari (Mike), Gina Rogacki (Mike), Chrissy Santangelo, Louise Kellum (Rodney), Melissa Saunders (Robert), Lou Santangelo, Jr. (Jessie), and Anthony Santangelo (Rachel); 15 grandchildren, Zach, Gracie, Mikey, James, Tyler, Aidan, Bryan, Robert, Chloe, James, Sammy, Evy, Rachael, Addie and Stella and a brother, Charles Santangelo, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Santangelo, Sr. and Grace Romeo Santangelo and sisters, Barbara Skapinski and Christine Berkowitz.
Louis and Eileen met in Long Island, NY while they were both in high school in 1968 and were married April 1972. They were inseparable ever since. He was a very hard worker and provided well for his family and they had a love filled home. They were both a true example of love, devotion and generosity.
Louis loved music, especially the Beatles and greatly enjoyed working on cars. He was a very devoted, loving husband, father and Pappy. He will be truly missed by all who loved him.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p. m. Friday, June 5, 2020 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock, Virginia.
