Obituary for Margaret Ketner Robinson
Margaret Ketner Robinson, 59, of Varina, Virginia, formerly of Reedville, Virginia, born, June 25, 1963 in Lewes, Delaware, departed this life September 10, 2022.
Margaret was a kind and generous soul with a great sense of humor; passionate about family and friends along with the caring and feeding of animals within a ten mile radius including her pet peacock, "Pretty Boy", numerous feral cats, groundhogs, skunks, possums, raccoons, and chickens.
Margaret also welcomed Donnie's fishing buddies into their home whom often stopped by to spend the night before a tournament on the James River.
Margaret was devoted to her work as a caregiver. She was beloved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles H. Ketner, Sr. and Shirley M. Ketner. She is survived by Donnie Estes, her soulmate of 22 years; brothers, Charles H. Ketner, Jr. of Reedville, Va. and Clifton Ketner (Linda) of Wicomico Church, Va. ; her aunts; longtime best friend, Johnny Shelton of Reedville, Va. and special loved ones, Keith Estes (Kym) and family, Stephen Estes (Nicole) and family and Cameron Estes (Kasey) and family.
A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held 2:00 p. m. Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock, Va. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
