Obituary for Melissa Dean Brann (Stevens)
Melissa D. Brann, 77, of Callao, Virginia passed July 2, 2020. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
She is survived by her grandchildren, D. Dawn Hale (Ronnie), Michelle A. Hall (Jimmy), Abbeyanne F. Brann (Jacob), Jonathan T. Brann (Praise), Ethan C. Brann (Shelby) and Jordan W. Brann (Loren); great grandchildren, Hannah V. Hall, Gracianne M. Hall, Samuel L. Brann, Chase D. Brann, Chandler B. Brann and Julian M. Brann and many brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Brann, Sr. and her sons, William F. Brann, Jr. and John W. Brann.
Melissa retired with 37 years at Levi Strauss and dedicated her life to taking care of others. She enjoyed spending time with her family, growing beautiful flowers and listening to gospel music.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock, Va. Interment will follow the service at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p. m. Monday, July 6, 2020 at the funeral home.
