Condolence: Dear Miller Family,

I am saddened to hear Mr. Butch left this earth and went to a better place. I am so fortunate to have met someone as wonderful as him. I will never forget his smiling face and his beautiful demeanor. I pray that he is resting in peace. I send thoughts and prayers to his family on behalf of myself and Dr. Okolo.

Condolence: We have lost a close and personal friend. Butch and Gary , both from Herndon, Va. were my roommates at VA Tech our Freshman year. It was with their companionship and support I made it through the "RAT" year at Tech. Marlene, I feel like I have lost a family member. Many thanks to you for allowing me time to visit Butch.

Condolence: Butch was one of those people who will be so
missed. However, he will always be remembered for his smile, his giving and his love of life, family and friends. He was a teacher of how to live a good life, be a good friend and recognize that without faith life is empty. He was such an inspiration to all of us who were fortunate enough to have him in our lives. We love you Butch. Our love, thoughts and prayers to the family.

Condolence: Thank you Lord for Blessing us these many years with Butch's friendship. He was a bright part of our daily lives and we will miss him very much. God love and keep you dear friend.

Condolence: My earliest childhood memories have my Uncle Butch in them (I'm Marlene's nephew). His smile, heart and presence all seemed so big to me. Being a lifelong Californian/Hawaiian, I never got to spend as much time as I would have liked around him. I regret that. My deepest condolences to my Virginia family and all of his friends and loved ones.

Condolence: The world lost a mighty good man. We and many others lost a terrific friend and those of us on Ferry Point Rd and beyond lost the best neighbor anyone could ask for. Butch moved here shortly after my dad died. My dad lived where I do now (next to Butch) and I would make trips to look after the house. They were trips that were a little tough and lonely until Butch came over and introduced himself as a new neighbor. They were great trips after that and after we moved here. RIP my friend, we are sure going to miss you

Condolence: Butch was loved by all who knew him and his laughter and wonderful smile will be in our hearts forever. He was one of the most generous people we ever met; giving his time, advice, and talents to anyone in need. He loved the northern neck and the many friends he made there but all of us from Herndon and Great Falls felt he belonged to us too. Our hearts go out to Marlene, his entire family, and his church, as this wonderful man will be greatly missed.
