Many years ago Rose recruited me into the Kilmarnock Rescue Squad Auxilliary.  We did many fundraisers but the one that stands out was what she called a cow pattie drop.  I was a city girl so she had to explain this in length.  A square grid in a field was marked off, the members sold the marked off squares, then a cow was put in the grid and whatever square he dropped his first deposit in, dictated the winner.  Hilarious!!  She had such a good sense of humor.
