Many a fun time have Harriet and I had with Ronnie and Robertra from a ferry ride and walk around Smith Island to going to Williamsburg for the day and returning to Kilmarnack to the glares of Mary and Taddy who we didn’t take with us. Duck and the outer banks, and, meeting them for a lobster dinner when their cruise ship docked in Boston. Joining them on several occassions in Massenutten to tour the area, play Crazy Eights and have some good laughs with family are all great memories. Roberta was always so hospitable, always making everyone feel welcome and, oh my goodness, the bang of those dishes as she loaded the dishwasher.
Roberta’s thoughtfulness can best be rxemplified by how kind she was to my mother, Ronnie’s Aunt Taddy, in Taddy elderly years. Every Friday morning - every Friday morning - she would call Ma to talk for a while. My mother so looked forward to the call, and, endeared Roberta to her for life.
We will miss Roberta and her Christian ways very much; and, we extend our deepest sympathy to cousin Ronnier and the family.
