Neal Foxhall, 73, of Kilmarnock, Virginia died on October 22, 2014. He was born on August 6, 1941 in Memphis, Texas, son of the late, James Lesley and Betty W. Foxhall.

Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Susan Foxhall; his daughter, Lesley Pietras (John) of New Orleans, Louisiana; his son, James Foxhall (Deepthi) of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Catherine and Margot Pietras and Nayan and Prem Foxhall; his sisters, Jean Koons of Texas, Jo Sanders of Colorado and Lynn Badgwell of California.

Neal attended the University of Texas where he completed his undergraduate studies and attended Law School. He practiced law in Clear Lake City, Texas. Neal joined the Navy and during this time he was an officer on USS Wright and a legal officer on USS Boston. After serving in the Navy, he then returned to practicing law in Texas. Later he moved to Baltimore, Maryland and worked as a legal claims manager for Fidelity and Deposit Company. Neal retired as Vice President of the claims division for Wausau Insurance in Wausau, Wisconsin. In 2002 he moved to Kilmarnock where he continued to be an independent contractor.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a. m. Monday, October 27, 2014 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
