Vivian Cass Johnson, 89, of Irvington, Virginia departed this life on April 18, 2015. She was the daughter of the late William Bell Cass and Anne Jaindl Cass of Allentown, Pa.. Vivian was a 1947 graduate of Hood College in Frederick, Md.

She was a charter member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Kilmarnock, past president of the Kilmarnock Garden Club, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a docent and active volunteer for Historic Christ Church, Irvington, Va. .

Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Johnson. She is survived by her sons, Daniel C. Johnson (Denise) of Hickory, N. C. and Stephen C. Johnson (Cynthia) of Richmond, Va. and her granddaughter, Hilary P. Johnson of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury, Irvington.
