Condolence From: Mrs. Gary Bryant
Condolence: As I said good-bye today...I found myself constantly talking to you in hopes....you'd hear me. I can't believe God called you home. We weren't ready for you to leave us. There is still so much I wanted to share with you as your new daughter in law. From the beginning of my journey with Gary, you welcomed me into your home, and family. The precious times of holidays, our annual trips to get Christmas trees, and the wonderful picnic's afterward. You braved the long walks and cold as your children wander all over the tree farm picking out the "perfect" tree. You and I started collecting their handmade ornaments...it was a special treasure we shared. We've had some special talks, and I kept telling you, "Thank you for raising him to be the man I fell in love with, and married." It is because of you, he is the man he has become. I miss you, we all miss you. Life was altered, and I for one was not ready for our time to end! I don't know how we can move forward with out you. But I promise you, I will love him as much as you do. I will honor and cherish him and be the daughter in law you would be proud of. You will always be held in my heart and soul and I will continue to thank you each day I have the blessing of being his wife and having you as my mother in law. I only wish ...with all my heart we had more time...

μπορεί η μνήμη της είναι αιώνια

Condolence From: Martha Worley
Condolence: Barbara and I worked together at USDA for about 30 years. Since her death, I've spoken to a couple of women who were part of our "gang." We shared many stores and had some good laughs. Stories that mostly involve taking too much time at lunch and having "too much fun." I'll just say if we had worked anywhere else we would have been fired.

After we retired, we found out we had mutual friends in Jewell and Lee Tolliver. The 6 of us got together a couple of times. I regret we didn't plan more of these get togethers. It is doubly sad that Jewell and Lee passed last year.

Ed, I'll never forget the time you both came to Charlottesville to be with me when Jim was in the hospital there. That was so special and I'll never forget it. That is what friends do.

Ed, you and the family have our sincerest condolences. May God grant you the strength and give you comfort in the difficult days ahead. God bless you, Martha and Jim
