Condolence: I spent time with Althea during events with extended family. I remember her as smiling, engaged, and interested, and sensed a wisdom beyond what the chit-chat allowed. As well, her comments seemed laced with pragmatism. She was that book on the shelf that I'd have loved to open if the circumstances allowed. We'll all be poorer for her loss.
Condolence: Although I didn’t know Althea, I’ve known her son Robert for years and he is one of the people I most trust and respect. If she was anything like him, I can only imagine the sorrow her friends and relatives must feel. My sympathies to all.
