Didn’t get to spend as much time as I would have liked with uncle Ron (uncle Butch to me). Every moment I spent with him was positive, be it fishing in Chesapeake bay, playing golf, or just sitting around the table talking. Ron was always someone to admire and emulate. The world is a little poorer without uncle Butch.

As a Surgical Resident at MCV I was blessed to have been taught by a fine young attending surgeon Dr. Ron Davis. He was a very accomplished surgeon and a gentleman in all respects. Although I mourn now, I smile when I think of those days in the early 70's at MCV. What we do in Life echoes in eternity and Ron's are wonderful. Michael Swank MD.
