My earliest childhood memories have my Uncle Butch in them (I'm Marlene's nephew). His smile, heart and presence all seemed so big to me. Being a lifelong Californian/Hawaiian, I never got to spend as much time as I would have liked around him. I regret that. My deepest condolences to my Virginia family and all of his friends and loved ones.
