One of my fondest memories goes back to 1980...Sue & Dudley provided my first experience of Northern Neck hospitality, and as a Yankee new to Virginia, it meant a great deal! Rush brought me to Kilmarnock, and Sue & Dudley took us to Sal's Restaurant. We shared a pizza and a pitcher of beer, and that occasion was just the beginning of many good times together, and I discovered two qualities about the Edsons that never changed: Dudley's unique sense of humor, shared so happily by his wife, and Sue's altruism, her interest in others that stayed with her until the end.

     Thanks, Sue, for all of your kindness and loving ways over the years. I'll miss you very much.
