My heart is broken for Ed's children, David and Alecia. Since my sister Julie married David, I have enjoyed Ed's company many times over the years during holidays at Wintergreen with my family and his visits to North Carolina to see David, Julie, and their wonderful sons Cooper and Will. He was an American hero and an adventurer with a generous heart. He will be deeply missed.
