I've often shared the story of Mike and I from so long ago, getting in trouble, sitting in Mr. Luttrell's office, thinking we would be kicked out for an incredibly bad decision we'd made. We were called in to see him, he was firm, he was disappointed, and he let us know it. But, what followed was probably 30 minutes of him being the most down-to-earth man, sharing stories of his own mistakes, laughing with us, putting us at ease, and what showed through was that he respected us as much as we respected him. I've always appreciated what he did for us that day and how he treated all of the students of MHS; he definitely left a mark on many lives during his years there. I know he left a mark on mine.
